Manage It App Monthly News

As you probably know we have 2 apps to help you get organized, Get It Done and Manage It. Here is some of the new things going on with the Manage It app:

Daily Email

You will now receive a daily email reminding you of:

- Tasks you have starred
- Tasks that are assigned to you
- Tasks that are due soon but nobody is assigned to them yet

The default is for you to receive the email Monday through Friday but you can change the days or turn off the emails completely from the settings in the app. If you are on iOS you may need to update your app before you see these settings.

Free Android App

Our first Android release is out, get it by clicking here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marcucio.manageitapp

You can now quickly access your projects from your Android phone or tablet when you are not near a computer. There is much more we would like to do on Android to make it a great experience for you. We hope this app is a good starting point.

iOS improvements

Our new iPhone and iPad apps have been very well received and we are continually working to make them better. Editing tasks and notes is much faster in our latest version. We also made improvements to syncing tasks when the app is not open, this helps make sure you don't have to wait for the app to sync when you open it. The new version (1.2.1) should be in the App Store in the next few days. If you haven't used the iOS app already you can get it here:

Evernote help page

Many of you use Manage It to attach and assign Evernote notes. We have written a help page for anyone who would like more information on how we integrate with Evernote and how it can be helpful to you:

Heartbleed

Like everyone else on the internet we took a close look at the security of our apps when the Heartbleed vulnerability was disclosed. We were happy to find that Manage It was not vulnerable to Heartbleed. Nonetheless, as a precaution, we took the time to update all of our servers, certificates, and rotated security keys where necessary. The security of your data is our highest priority.

As always let us know if you have any suggestions or comments,

Thanks,
